Beef Tenderloin Souvlaki at Pappas’ Grill

This place has been around for 18 years.  Tucked behind Red Lobster in Vestavia you would never know it’s here.  This little mom and pop or Greg and Pat place is a gem.  Family run and 100% Greek.    My pictures today are of a Chicken Souvlaki but I keep coming back for the Beef Tenderloin Souvlaki.  It will set you back $11 plus a drink but it’s worth every dime.  The souvlaki comes with greek salad and a choice of rice, spinch & rice, green beans or greek style potatoes.  I have always had the potatoes so I can’t tell you about the other options.  My guess is they are all good.  My advice is get the potatoes.  Do the beef medium rare/ medium.

I had the chicken today and it was great.  I was late (1:30pm) and all the tenderloin was gone.  This place seems like a great place to grab a casual dinner or have cater your next gathering.

I’ll post beef pics next time I get there for lunch!
